South by Southwest.  Music, film & interactive converge upon Austin for 10 days each year.  And yet, each year we find ourselves getting caught up in the hustle & bustle of amazing artists, designers and incredibly talented individuals.  It truly is an amazing experience, aside from the parties, things happen here.  Lots of things.  And it's quite obvious that Austin continues to thrive as one of the nations top cities to work, grow and play.

From March 8 to March 17 Austin will be hopping with celebs, performers and really smart people.  That's why we love it!

Whether you're a newbie to the festival or a long time veteran, we think you'll find these tidbits helpful in planning your week.  One of Austin's locals, Kat Candler, shares her insider tips on the festival.  Read it here.

Are you a freeloader?  You're in luck.  Austin360 put together a "badgeless" event list where you can search all free events.  Cool huh?  Search SXSW side parties here.

Check the schedule for everything that's happening and visit the official SXSW website.

Know something we don't know?  Please share in the comments below!

Happy SXSW y'all!
