Experience the magnificent Texas Hill Country with a day trip to wine country!  Hop on the shuttle bus at Rough Hollow's Welcome Center to enjoy an afternoon of beautiful scenery and fine wines without the worry of getting behind the wheel.  Spicewood wine country is a short drive from Rough Hollow and along the way we'll stop at a few of our favorite vineyards.  The bus leaves at noon and will return around 4pm.

Tasting fees vary from $10 - $15 at each of the wineries.  A small additional fee for transportation will be determined based on the number of residents who sign up.

Spring Triathlon Challenge

Rough Hollow Fitness is proud to present their Outdoor Triathlon Challenge on Saturday, April 28, 2012.  This unique triathlon will feature the following three events:

2K Kayak* - participants will kayak from Rough Hollow's Ship Store out and around mile marker 18 and back.

10K Bike - participants will bike from Rough Hollow Fitness out to Bee Creek and back.

5K Run - participants will run from Rough Hollow Fitness to the entrance of Rough Hollow and back.

*Kayaks are provided, but please bring your own life vest.

There is an individual division and a partner division for those who want to team up.  The overall winners of both divisions will receive two personal training sessions.

Entry fee is $20 for adults and $15 for kids 18 and younger.
Check-in at 8:30am.  Race starts at 9:00am.

Crawfish Boil

Get ready to bite it, suck it and rough it on Saturday, April 21, when Rough Hollow’s Third Annual Crawfish Boil takes over the Yacht Club & Marina Pavilion! From noon to 5 p.m., bring your appetite for an unlimited crawfish feast, served with sides and non-alcoholic drinks. Enjoy hurricanes and John Daly drink specials to the vibrant sounds of the Lake Travis Fiddlers.

Savor the freshest flavors of the bayou on the shores of our beautiful Lake Travis, meet up with neighbors and friends, and enjoy a day filled with delicious food, fresh drinks and live music. Be sure to enter the photo contest for a chance to win an iPad!

Tickets are only $15 when purchased in advance online at www.RoughHollowLakeway.com/crawfish.aspx, or $20 at the door. Kids 12 and under get in for $10.

The Easter Bunny is hopping over to Rough Hollow! Bring your baskets and bonnets and enjoy traditional Easter games for all of the family to partake in. We will have a delectable Easter spread, an Easter Egg Hunt, lots of games with prizes and, of course, pictures with the Easter Bunny himself!
