Independence Day is right around the corner and we have a list of activities to keep you busy all day long.  Besides boating, waterskiing, wakeboarding and tubing, here's a sample of "non-lake" related activities to entertain the family or your out-of-town guests over the Holiday weekend.

One of our favorites is just right around the corner from Rough Hollow at Hill Country Galleria.  Hill Country Fest is a celebration of our nations freedom including live entertainment, fireworks, shopping and dining.  Did we mention it's FREE?

The Grille at Rough Hollow is serving up red, white and blue all day long.  Sip on one of their famous margaritas by the pool or try their pecan smoked brisket or port wine venison sausage.  Yum!

Relax on the grass to the sounds of the Austin Symphony and Orchestra at Auditorium Shores downtown, followed by a spectacular fireworks show.  This is one of the hottest celebrations in Austin, so if you like crowds, check it out!

What are your plans for Independence Day?
