Fall Activities We Love

Fall is one of our favorite times of the year.  The hot summer temperatures have dropped, but the days are still warm and the nights are cool and the colors begin to change ever so slightly on the hills surrounding Austin.

Fall is also a great time to get outside.  Below is a list of fall activities we love around Rough Hollow:

  1. Go for a Bike Ride:  there are several trails in and around Rough Hollow that are perfect for a challenging or leisurely bike ride.  Grab your bike helmet and start pedaling.
  2. Go for a Hike:  talk a walk through nature on one of our marked nature trails and mingle with neighbors along the way.
  3. Visit the Texas Wine Country:  a trip to the wine country during the fall is a must.  Not only are the wines fabulous, you'll also enjoy hill country views and changing colors along the way.  A beautiful drive up through Fredericksburg is one we highly recommend.
  4. Play a round of Golf:  at the entrance of Rough Hollow is the Hills of Lakeway Country Club.  Members are afforded two stunning championship golf courses, The Hills and Flintrock Falls.  Take a swing!
  5. Play a game of Tennis:  the World of Tennis Sports Complex is just steps away from Rough Hollow and features 16 outdoor courts (12 lighted) and two indoor courts.  A full service fitness facility, spa and pool is also available.
  6. Watch your favorite Games:  the Grille at Rough Hollow is the perfect place to catch the big game.  Enjoy great food, beautiful views and big screen TV's!
